How do you automate emails using ClickFunnels?
Sales funnels consist of a sequence of steps, and they are created to transform prospects into buyers. People arrive at your product’s page through different routes. Using ClickFunnels, you have everything you need to market, sell, and deliver your products via email marketing.
Let’s get started with Click Funnels email automation:
- Login to your ClickFunnels account 👇
- Go to the marketing tab and select the workflows.
- From the workflow dashboard, click the button marked Add New Workflow.
- Now, find yourself on a page asking for details, including a name and run type, where you can type in any name (tip: you’ll remember for this workflow) and select a run type. You can pick from the three options from the run type.
Multiple runs per contact (simultaneous)- will run the workflow every time it is triggered, even if it happens simultaneously with another contact.
Multiple runs per contact ( back to back) - will do much the same, except it will wait for the first workflow to finish for a contact before it starts sending the next one to the same contact.
Only one run - will run the workflow once for a given email address. It is a great choice if you're worried about spamming contact that might hit the trigger or trigger a workflow multiple times.
Now, you find yourself on another workflow layout page. Now, start by clicking no trigger set.
Here, in this pop-up window, you have to add trigger properties.
While setting up this workflow, ensure that you leave it inactive. This reduces the chances of setting off emails before you finish it.
From the event type, choose a triggering event that will set off the workflow, such as adding or removing a tag to a contact a calendar event, a successful order purchase event, an opt-in, or a page view for a visitor that has already successfully opted in or shared their email address.
Select the funnel to trigger a workflow and a page in that funnel that would like that event to occur. Then click Create Trigger.
After that, you will be led to this window. If you would like another event to be triggered, you can add a trigger and edit the trigger with the edit button or activate the trigger with the toggle to the right. And Click close once you are done.
Now that a trigger is set up click the plus button following the workflow. Triggers window to add an event; different options exist for what events you can set up.
Click the send email event to set up your email
A window opens where you’ll be prompted to set up a name template subject, optional pre-headline, and a from address.
Suppose you want to customize the email by picking templates. You can customize the email to be a specific copy of the email, while we can now also return to the workflow to the initial tab.
Now, return to the workflow by going to the initial tab where if you wish to send another email after a while, you just click on (+).
Also, you can set the frequency of your emails by clicking the delay step that appears when you click +. You can choose your appropriate time frame and then click Create Now.
Similarly, we can create a host of emails using these tools and get the sequence triggered by an event in your funnel.
